Hello and welcome to our fantastic wiki which we are working on for a class project.

ELA - FAIRY TALES

Using curriculm navigator we worked on a Fairy Tales unit.

Curriculm navigator gives you some assistance in building a unit of selected topics.

When you get to the bottom of the "unit outline", you can "build it", which saves your desired activities.

On the very next screen, you can request that all of the outcomes that you are meeting be listed as well, including both your curriculm (ELA, Sc, SS..) as well as ICT outcomes.

The basic outline of our study was to read, and explore the elements of Fairy Tales. 

Our ICT componants were a) using a paint program to illustrate part of a fairy tale.  b) reading a fairy tale using the internet  c) writing/illustrating  a fairy tale using a paint or drawing program and word.

With this short unit, we hit all but 4 of the ICT outcomes!!
